Floral Inspiration with Single Stem Blooms

If you look around your home you’re sure to find lots of glassware, small bud vases or empty yet decorative bottles that can serve as the perfect vessel for a single flower stem. I made a quick trip around our photo studio and gathered a few interesting ones for my display. When clustered together the look is gorgeous and I’ve only used 7 stems. (Left to right: Babe orange spray roses, pink phalaenopsis orchid, blue hydrangea, Hot Princess pink rose, yellow alstroemeria)

The look is casual and airy and will look great in a home’s entryway or on your kitchen table. Creating this multi-blossomed display is not only super easy, but is very inexpensive. In fact, if you’re planning an event or party use any left over or broken stems for this project. You can make the look more formal by utilizing silver vases or mercury glass bottles. I’ve even added short blooms to interesting votive candleholders.

Have fun with it and let the flowers and your vessels provide the inspiration!
