Twelve roses is all it takes to create a stunning rose centerpiece. That’s it…we promise. Our do-it-yourself Rose Bowl gives you time to focus on all the other aspects of your party, wedding or special get-together. What’s wonderful about this unique vessel is you choose what to display in its center. We’ve shown you how elegant a bottle of wine looks on tabletop and how you can customize your centerpiece with unique seasonal offerings like these blue robin’s eggs. The skies the limit. Fill your rose bowl’s middle with a single floating flower. How about a candle? Candies make for a functional floral arrangement.
They are soft, star-shaped and simply irresistible. Sorbonne Oriental lilies are adored for their large blooms and intoxicating fragrance. In fact, this sugar pink lily with white-edged petals is known for making a statement whether displayed in a big bouquet or among other flowers in a beautiful arrangement. Lilies are easy to arrange and you can gain much inspiration from this flower.
Each wedding anniversary has a designated flower. The Lily is the traditional 30th Anniversary flower.
Whenever someone loses a loved one, you can usually count on their home being besieged with food from well meaning friends and neighbors. Being that we are a flower company, we also know that bouquets and special arrangements are always appreciated. For some a keepsake gift means most. With that in mind we created a beautiful, long lasting reminder — the Earthen Treasures Cross.
Inspired by some of the most naturally beautiful, yet wonderfully uncomplicated, treasures offered up by earth’s diverse landscapes, the cross can be hung in the home or at a service. It’s a unique offering that’s ideal for for sending your sincerest sympathies.
We’re starting 2014 off with a trip to the AmericasMart in Atlanta, Georgia. Our objective is to find as many new and exciting looks for the upcoming seasons as possible. We’re on the hunt for the perfect Mother’s Day vase, the got-to-have-it cachepot for an orchid garden and much, much, more. Now if the weather would warm up just a tad we’ll really be on the move from showroom to showroom.
With much of the US seeing some of the coldest weather in years, Calyx Flowers will not be shipping any orders on Tuesday, January 7. This is a preventative measure to ensure that we only ship the highest quality flowers and plants from our growers. We try not to be in the business of delivering frozen flowers. Stay warm Flower Lovers!

We’re delighted to announce that our gorgeous Year of Orchids gift program was selected to be in the latest issue of People Magazine. The 3 month gift program was selected as a one of the “gifts for the home” in People’s Holiday Gift Guide 2013. The stunning orchids were part of the collection curated by HGTV’s Hilary Farr who said, “Who wouldn’t want three months of beautiful orchids to help get through the winter?” We couldn’t agree more.
